Why You Need to Protect Your Dog's Paws in the Heat

If you think the summer heat and humidity are hard on you just imagine your pets feel.
You probably don't think twice before taking your dog out for a walk in this heat because they need to get their exercise and go to the bathroom, but something as simple as going for a walk can cause a lot of pain for your dog.
Our dog's paws are just as sensitive as our feet. So when do we need to be extra careful?

So here are some tips to protect your dog's paws from the hot ground this summer:
- Walk your pet when earlier in the morning before it gets too hot outside or later at night when the sun goes down.
- Keep your four-legged friend on the grass when it's hot outside.
- Put socks on your dog's paws to offer some protection.
- You can buy some dog shoes to put a barrier between your pooch's paws and the pavement.
And remember, if it's too hot for your bare feet, it's too hot for your dog's bare paws.
