Tips for Picking the Best Christmas Tree

Finding that perfect Christmas tree (for both real and artificial trees) can be tough, so we've got some tips here to help you make the right choice:

  1. Real Trees require maintenance and commitment.
You'll have to water the tree daily, trim back some branches, and clean up falling needles if you opt for a real tree. But they smell oh so good so all of the work could be worth it.
  2. Fake Trees are easy.
Plus you get more bang for your buck. My only issue with fake trees is they require some fluffing before they look right. And they can be a bit of a pain to take down and fit back into that small box at the end of the season.
  3. Firs are the easiest real tree.
They require less maintenance, are watered less, and shed less needles than other tree types.
  4. You May Want to avoid buying a "trendy tree."
If you've been out and about you may have seen some of the new trendy trees that are rose gold, colored, or even the upside Christmas tree that they are selling at Target. Trendy may be cool this year, but these trees often don't have a long shelf life because they are a one or two year trend.

That has to be a joke right?

What kind of tree are you opting for this year?
