Ladies, Here’s Why Your Boss Should Give You A Nap Break!

So many of us get sleepy at work. Whether it’s trying to get going first thing in the morning or that 3pm slump, focusing can be pretty rough some days. 

And you wanna know what the problem is? Ladies are NOT sleeping enough, simply because we’re women.


Well, I'm sorry to say that the female brain needs more sleep than a male's brain does. It may be just a measly 20 minutes more, but still! That’s 20 minutes of more sleep each night that we need.

You can find us running around doing chores, errands, and not getting shut-eye, but we’re actually the ones who need the sleep the most.

In fact, a sociologist found that women (working mothers in particular) give up both sleep and leisure time in order to get it all done. 

So while these ladies are basically running on empty, they are still doing all of their necessary duties. You go, girls!

So if you’re feeling drowsy during the workday, take a nap. Do it!

If your boss asks, just tell them that the New York Times said you needed to take a nap
