Ingredients

For the crust

▢2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour 270g

▢1 cup unsalted butter very cold

▢1/4 cup sugar 50g

▢1/2 tsp salt

▢1/4 cup ice water plus more if needed.

For the Filling

▢3 eggs

▢1 egg yolk

▢2 tsp vanilla 10mL

▢4 tbsp unsalted butter 60g

▢1 cup dark corn syrup 240mL

▢3/4 tsp salt

▢1/3 cup brown sugar 66g

▢1/4 cup maple syrup 60mL

▢1 cup chopped pecans

▢2 cups whole pecans for decorating top

For the Egg Wash

▢1 egg

▢1 tbsp cream
