Clayton Cook had just gotten married, but it when he was in a park taking photos with his new wife, Brittany, that he became a hero. Of course, it was all caught on camera.

They say a group of children followed them around the park during the photo shoot. It was when the photographer was taking solo shots of Brittany that Clayton noticed one of the kids was missing.

The groom quickly discovered that the young boy was in the nearby lake, and the boy was struggling to swim. Without hesitation, the newly married man (who was still in his wedding suit) jumped into the water to pull the boy to safety.

The boy appeared to be OK, according to the couple, and they continued on with their photo shoot. In fact, the couple tells The Huffington Post that they didn’t realize how significant the action actually was until after the fact.

“That’s Clay, like that’s Clay to me. It’s something he would just instinctively do,” Clayton’s new wife told a Canadian TV station.

He sounds like a TOTAL keeper to us.
