David Cassidy is hospitalized in critical condition as he faces organ failure. The 67-year-old was admitted to a hospital in the Fort Lauderdale, Florida area on Wednesday, according to reports.

Cassidy, of course, is probably best known for his hit song "I Think I Love You," and his role as Keith Partridge on the hit ‘70s TV series, The Partridge Family.

His publicist, Jo-Ann Geffen told the media that the 67-year-old actor and musician is conscious at this time. Geffen also told CNN that David is surrounded by his family and friends, and they’re taking it “day-by-day,” but “nothing is imminent.”

David is in need of a liver transplant, according to PEOPLE Magazine. Entertainment Tonight also reports that David's kidneys are also failing

In recent years, Cassidy had been touring with his music. When he stopped touring earlier this year, he revealed to PEOPLE Magazine that he was battling dementia. Both his mother and grandmother had suffered from the disease.
