Five Christmas Releases That We're Already Excited For & It's Only July

It's Christmas in July, and yes, we're a little excited!

July 25, 2017

July 25 is widely known as Christmas in July.  It's a great day to break away from the heart of the summer to flash forward to the dead of winter when we'll be celebrating Christmas. Yes, there are just 152 more sleeps (or 5 months) until the big day!

In the meantime, we've compiled a list of five things we're already looking forward to this Christmas. We've got everything from movies to iconic Christmas albums to look forward to this holiday season.

  1. TV Special - Decorating Disney - Freeform
The new TV special will give us an inside look at how Disney's properties (12 theme parks, 4 cruise ships and more) get ready for the holiday. We'll see how Disney makes all 12 of their theme parks (plus cruise ships and more) into a magical Christmas wonderland.. overnight. Freeform is expected to air the program during their 25 Days of Christmas programming later this year.

  2. Christmas TV Movies - Hallmark Channel
We know that we can expect a ton of great movies from the Hallmark Channel every Christmas. This year there will be a ton of great ones. In fact, Hallmark will have 33 new Holiday movies this year on for the popular TV network. It's SO hard to pick our favorites. Have you seen their list of new movies for 2017? Check it out here

Here's a behind-the-scenes look at one of those new films, Christmas in the Air

  3. Christmas LP - Home for Christmas - *NSYNC
The band is apparently going to release a "really cool vinyl edition" of their iconic Christmas album. Lance Bass revealed the revealed the news to Entertainment Tonight earlier this year. Home for Christmas was originally released in 1998. Yes, take us back to the '90's, boys!

  4. Christmas Movie - A Bad Mom's Christmas
The gang is all back for this movie, and it looks outrageous. Mila Kunis, Kristen Bell and Kathryn Hahn are all returning for the sequel to Bad Moms this year. Plus, Christine Baranski, Cheryl Hines, and Susan Sarandon will also join the film. The plot will show us what happens the girls visit their own mothers during the holiday season. The movie will be released on November 3.

  5. Christmas Album - Ooh Christmas - Hanson
The boys of Hanson announced this project last year, and we've been counting down the days ever since. The trio finished recording the album just before last Christmas, according to a tweet from Zac Hanson. They gave us a video teaser in December 2016, and we cannot wait to hear the full abum. In the mean time, listen as Taylor Hanson sings a killer version of "Blue Christmas."

With an entertainment lineup like this, we have to quote the Chipmunks! "Hurry Christmas, hurry fast!"
